Domain Overview

You'll be working with emergency medical services (EMS) data, specifically medical airlift operations.

A medical airlift company operates from regional aircraft bases, each staffed 24/7 with crews of hourly medical nurses. When a dispatch call comes in, a base is assigned to respond by helicopter. The data tracks each call from dispatch through patient pickup to return, including geographic coordinates, timestamps, and the responding nurse crew.

Key concepts to familiarize yourself with: EMS operations and staffing models, helicopter dispatch logistics, and labor protections for shift-based workers including rest and meal period requirements.
